The 30th celebrated on Saturday 29th June 2019
with a Community Festival event in and around the Dials

June 29th, 2019 was the 30th anniversary of the new Seven Dials Sundial Pillar, unveiled by HM Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands as the finalé of the year-long William & Mary Tercentenary (1989).

The Trust celebrated this momentous occasion exactly thirty years on with a programme of street entertainers as part of Festival 30, followed by a reception sponsored by the Mercer Street Hotel.

At almost the exact moment of the 1989 unveiling the Trustees made toast on the Dials to Princess Beatrix and the Sundial Pillar. They were joined by Cllr Sabrina Francis, Deputy Mayor of Camden; Cllr Ruth Bush, Lord Mayor of Westminster; and Sir Keir Starmer MP QC.
